🇸🇰 Privacy Protection
Here you will find clearly what data MonumentGO processes, why and for how long – and what you can do about it at any time.
📋 What data we collect
- Profile – username, e-mail, display name and avatar (if you upload or generate one).
- Activity – visited and favourite monuments, ratings, points and badges, game results, collections and monument suggestions.
- Messages – private messages you exchange with other users.
- Photos – photos of monuments you upload; they go through moderation before publication.
🇸🇰 Social functions
- The social features (friends, activity feed, comments, likes) are enabled only with your explicit consent – we will ask you to confirm on first use.
- Once you give consent, others can see your name, avatar and activity (depending on the visibility you set).
- In the privacy settings you decide who can see your profile and activity (everyone / friends only / nobody) and who can message you.
- You can block anyone – blocking cancels friendship and following in both directions and the person stops seeing you.
🤖 AI moderace obsahu
- Texts you publish on the website (comments, posts, tips) are automatically checked by AI moderation, which watches for spam, abuse and inappropriate content.
- Flagged content may be hidden and passed to an administrator for manual review. The AI is used only for moderation – your data is not used to train models.
⏳ How long we keep data
- Notifications – we delete them after 90 days.
- Read messages – we delete them after 24 months.
- Account and content – until you close the account; after a deletion request there is a 14-day period during which you can withdraw it.
⚖️ Your Rights
- Data export – you download a complete copy of your data with one click at /api/m/export-dat (JSON) or in the privacy settings.
- Account deletion – you request deletion in the privacy settings; we delete the account and personal data after the 14-day protection period ends.
- Correcting your data – you can edit your profile yourself at any time in the account settings.
- Withdrawing consent – you can handle consent to the social features at any time in the privacy settings, or write to the contact below.
