The manor house Strážky is located in the village of Spišská Bela in Prešov region and is a national cultural monument. It was built between 1570 and 1590 on the site of the original 13th century castle. Its architecture has undergone several transformations: the original Gothic form was rebuilt into Renaissance style, later in Baroque-Classicist style and after the fire in 1708 it was expanded into a square profile.

The manor house is closely connected with the Horváth-Stansith family. In 1556 the Guardian became the property of this family when Marko Horváth Stanschitz de Gradecz received a gift from Emperor Ferdinand I. Gregor Horváth founded a significant humanist Protestant school in 1588 (or possibly 1590), which was abolished in 1711.

The manor house went through various stages of administration and ownership, including the move of Baron Eduard Mednyánszky from Beckov in 1862. Ladislav Mednyanszký became a well-known painter of the European format. After the death of Margita Czobela in 1970, the manor house was transferred to the Slovak National Museum (SNG).

Today there are SNG exhibitions in the manor house, including the collection of historical library and mobilitarian manor house. Exposition of Ladislav Mednyanszky and Strážky is also presented in the manor house along with portraits 17th - 19th century in Spiš. The park, which is part of the monument, contains installed plastic exposure.

The manor house Strážky represents historical and cultural value in Slovakia. His architectural transformations reflect wider history and cultural influences in Slovakia. Each visitor has the opportunity to get a look at the Slovak past, which is connected with the mansion Strážka. This manor house provides space for art and dedication.
