For children
Imagine finding yourself in 1653. A Franciscan monastery is created in the snowy hills near Kremnica. The buildings lay one stone after another and a new building will grow on the city map. Who inhabited this place? There were monks of the order of St. Francis in brown huts girded by rope. They went barefoot or in sandals. In the morning, chorals sang at the reception, cared for the herbal garden, and helped the townspeople. In the hallways, sandals were quietly cut down on the stone floor. The monastery with an adjacent church grew up on a steep slope directly below the city walls.
