Evangelic church in the village Koceľovce in the Košice region is a Gothic building from the first half of the 14th century. It has preserved Gothic architecture and extensive continuous frescoes.

The church was founded probably in the first half of the 14th century and originally had St. Bartholomew's patrocinium. A single-boat building with a polygonal presbytery was extended, increased and closed at the end of the 14th century. Since the Reformation period it belongs to the Gospels, who built an emporium on the western and northern sides. In 1819 the ship was encircled by two fields of the Prussia arch and the southern atrium attached. At the beginning of the 20th century, the tower gained a secession metal helmet.

It is a single-nave church with a polygonally finished sanctuary, imagined western tower and sacristy in the northern position. The tower has a square ground plan on the ground floor, in the higher part is octagonal. Gothic windows with a circle were preserved in the presbytery. Three portals come from the Gothic period: the entrance, the sacristy and the underfloor. Forged doors to the sacristy date back to the 14th century, entrance doors to the church are from the beginning of the 16th century. The Sacristy is encircled by a walled vault and the Presbytery has a cross rib vault from the end of the 14th century. In the interior there is a baptistery from the 17th century, a wooden baroque altar from 1740 and a brick and wooden painted empora.

Part of the interior is fresco painting in the presbytery from 1360 to 1370, which is the author of the Master of the Ochtin Presbytery. The frescoes depict the Marian-Christological cycle. The Marian part includes the Preaching of the Virgin Mary, the Birth of Christ, the Visit of Mary at Elizabeth, the Trinity of the Three Kings, the Sacrifice in the Temple, the Twelve Years of Jesus in the Temple and the Coronation of the Virgin Mary. The Smuggling Cycle contains the coming of Jesus to Jerusalem, the Last Supper, the prayer in the garden of Gethsemane, the kiss of Judas, Christ before Herod and Caiaphas, the whipping, the crowning of thorns, the carrying of crosses, the crucifixion, the taking of the cross, and the saving to the grave. The picture of the Resurrection in the Presbytery is missing, but the symposium suggests further paintings in the ship. These paintings characterize linear drawing and live gestures of characters.

In 1736 fresco painting was bleached. Restaurant István The Count rediscovered it and restored it between 1896 and 1897. The last restoration survey was carried out in 1976. The church was declared a national cultural monument on May 6, 1963.

The area, registered by the Monument Office of the Slovak Republic under number ÚZPF 517, is located in the centre of the village and is surrounded by a wall. Apart from the church, the stone wall consists of a stone wall from the first half of the 14th century and unexplored church cemetery from the same period.
