Manor house and Roman Catholic church The birth of the Virgin Mary in the village of Geča, Košice region, are cultural monuments. The manor house dates back to the 17th century, in 1750 it was modified at the construction of the church. The facade of the manor house was changed in 1836, in the 20th century there were minor adaptation works.
The manor house and the church form a unit; the church is planted in a square massif of the manor house. The church has a single-boat floor plan, a semicircular apsid and a vaulted walled vault with lunets. On the apside there is a projecting extension with a small edged wooden tower and above it a tower. In the interior there is oratorium on the west and southeast side, behind which there is a corridor connecting the church with the manor house.
In the Presbytery there is a wall painting from 1760 by A. I. Trtina - Coronation of the Virgin Mary. In the boat are paintings from J. Smolka from 1945, based on Rococo compositions of Trtina. The main altar is later, it contains the icon of the Virgin Mary with Jesus in a stylized frame. On the sides of the altar are sculptures of St. Stephen the King and St. Ladislav from the middle of the 18th century on wooden consoles. The other two sculptures of St. Nicholas Bishop and St. Michael the Archangel come from the same carver, inspired by works of J. A. Krauss from Jasov monastery.
The manor house includes the original warehouse for agricultural products, so-called kertesňa, and a park on the hill in front of the church.
The monument office of the Slovak Republic records the manor house and church under the number of ÚZPF 418 (cathel 418/1, church 418/2). Objects are part of the cultural heritage of the village of Geča.
