The Palffy manor house is located in the village of New Life, which itself bears in name something changed, transformed. Although the exact time of the manor house is not documented, its existence is closely connected with the family of Pálffy, one of the most important noble families in the territory of today's Slovakia. These owners had to build not only a dwelling but also the entire area, which served as the center of their property, but also as a place where culture, politics and everyday life met. For them, the manor house was more than just a building - a symbol of power, but also of protection and comfort. Now pay attention to what you see in front of you. Before you, the bars of the mansion with its characteristic style, which combines elements of baroque and classicist architecture. Although the exact details of the interior and exterior are not in the background, you can see how the building is harmoniously inserted into the surrounding space. The Castile facade you get is simple but majestic, with elements that refer to the stylish tradition of Central Europe. Notice how the building connects with its surroundings - the park that surrounds it is like the second act of this history. Although its exact form is not documented, you can imagine how trees, flowers have blossomed in the past and how important personalities have been hosted here. Spice stories and personalities - even if they are not known, the manor house bears traces of the lives of people who lived, worked and decided. The Palffys, as owners, were part of important political and social processes in the territory of today's Slovakia. Their decisions affected not only their assets but also the lives of the people around them. The manor house was a place where they met officials, artists, but also simple people. Here, thoughts were born, letters were written, fates were decided. Although not known specific names or events, each stone, each plaster bears the echo of these stories. And now something that gives this place a cold of mystery. The manor house and its park are like a lost world waiting to be discovered. There are no known mysteries, but it is this unknownness that gives this place something special. Imagine how musical instruments sounded here in the past, talking about politics, art, life's destinies. The manor house was a place where several worlds met - a world of nobility, a world of officials, a world of artists. And now that you're standing here, you can start your own fantasy. What could have happened here? Who came here? What secrets are hidden between the walls? To leave - when you depart, you take with you not only memories of the beauty of the manor house, but also the feeling that you touched something bigger. The Palffy manor house and its park are a place waiting for other explorers. Seasonal recommendations

Spring In March and April, the Palffy mansion and its park will be rebuilt to life. The fresh green leaves on the trees create a game of light and shadow, while the sun noon illuminates the facade. The air smells fresh ground and first flowers. The park is suitable to visit in the morning when it is in the surroundings quietly. Clothes should be layered because mornings are cold and after lunch the temperature is rising rapidly. Beware of wet trails after collisions that are common during this period.

Summer In summer there is a Palffy mansion and a park full of colors and motion. Thick trees provide the necessary shade in June and July, while sun rays highlight the details of the facade. The surrounding area consists of green lawns and flowers. We recommend visiting the park in the morning or later in the afternoon when the temperature is milder. Clothes should be light, covered with a hat, sunglasses, and a sweater for evening cooling. In the main season it is more busy around, so it is advisable to choose the quieter parts of the park to relax.

Fall In September and October, the leaves in the park turn yellow, orange, and red. Fallen leaves cover paths. The colder climate and shorter day change the contrasts of light and shadow on the facade of the manor house. A good time to visit is the morning hours when the air is clear. Clothing should be warmer; after lunch, the temperature is about 10 - 15 °C. At this time the park is quieter, which allows you to observe details without interference.

Winter In December and January, snow covers trees and trails. Winter sunlight is reflected in snow and long shadows emphasize the architecture of the manor house. In the advent period, lights and decorations are located nearby. The park is suitable to visit in the afternoon. Clothing should be warm and suitable for wet conditions - waterproof footwear and gloves are the basis. At this time the park is almost deserted, allowing for peaceful observation of details.
