Štefánka on Palisads is a corner apartment building from the second half of the 19th century in Bratislava-Old Town. It is a national cultural monument and is registered under number ÚZPF 630. The area consists of only one building - a house built in 1896-1900 in eclectic style. The Slovak Monument Office classifies it as a staircase corner house, which reflects its urban function in the dense construction of the historical centre.

The building characteristics of the building are at least documented. It is an apartment building with probably several floors. Specific layouts, ground plan solutions or materials used are not listed in the registers. It is located at Palisada 741/59 in the cadastral territory of Bratislava-Old Town. The house was declared a national cultural monument, but the date of the declaration and the protection zone are not explicitly mentioned in the available data. The current status and use of the object are not specified in the registers.

Štefánka is part of the dense construction of Palisads on the western edge of the Old Town. Its location on the corner of the streets of Palisada and Stefaniková makes it a visible dominant of the surroundings. The house is one of the smaller architectural relics from the period of urban expansion of Bratislava at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.

The original information about the creation of Stephanka is unknown to us, which makes it even more mysterious building. The house probably evolved gradually as the old city's face changed. His corner position at the intersection of a significant street gave him an advantage, because here there met traders, artists and people from different levels of society. Thus, Stephen could not only be a home but also a place where thoughts met and new plans were born.
