Trojičný stĺp, Morový stĺp Sculptural group on pillars
The Trinity Column, also known as the Sea Column, is located in the village Komárno, Nitra region. It was exhibited in 1715 and belongs to the Baroque period. According to data of the Central Record of Monuments of the Slovak Republic (ÚZPF), it is a protected national cultural monument and is registered under number 231-308.
The area of the sculpture contains four statues: Saint Sebastian, Saint Rose of Palermo, Saint Rochus and Saint Francis Xavers. The statue of St. Antonio Paduan and the pedestal with relief depicting St. Charles Boromeisky are also added. In addition to these statues there is a four-side stone pillar on which stands the coronation of the Virgin Mary.
